ENERGY STAR qualified products and practices help you save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE. The ENERGY STAR label also designates superior energy performance in homes and buildings.

ENERGY STAR qualified new homes are at least 30% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code(IRC).  The U.S. EPA ensures that ENERGY STAR remains the symbol for truly energy-efficient performance.  Our ENERGY STAR homes are independantly verified by a third party energy rater to ensure they meet ENERGY STAR energy efficiency guidelines.

ENERGY STAR Advanced Lighting Package (ALP) Option

Build It Green is proud to offer ENERGY STAR Advanced Lighting Packages as an option to their customers. This designation will reduce utility costs associated with lighting in new buildings and provide market differentiation for those that choose to implement ALP.

ENERGY STAR Indoor Air Package

Build It Green also offers the ENERGY STAR Indoor Air Package as an option to all of its customers. Opting for this service will ensure that the occupants of your building will be living and working in a healthy environment. In many of today’s homes and buildings, the indoor air is over twice as unhealthy as outdoor air, so this can be a significant aspect of a new development that will also set it apart from others.
